With over 1,500 employees and an internationally recognized brand, Xcaret is today one of the eco-archaeological parks in the world more successful. Meet the vision and business philosophy of its founder, Miguel Quintana Pali, and his advice in these turbulent times.
What is Xcaret?
Xcaret is an eco-archaeological park interactive with the public whose mission is to teach the flora, fauna and culture of our country, our Mexico. When traveling abroad, want to know the people, food, clothing, folklore, crafts, and everything there.
So I looked all this focus on Xcaret Mexico. At Xcaret you can find all the typical food of our country, in the evening show are going to see all the music and dances, in the park and during your tour you will see the flora and the whole nature of this part of the republic, animals and fauna of this part of the republic and the whole culture, we have museums, we have exhibitions, exhibitions have, then we are teaching all the traditions of our country. Mexico is a millionaire, is rich in traditions and its roots are ancient, we have a wealth that does not fit in our park so we teach a piece of what is our culture.
Why did you decide to be an entrepreneur?
I think this one does not decide, I think many entrepreneurs are children of entrepreneurs, and others are things that are going across one on the way. How many people know that a career study and do nothing even close to what I study? Then I was given to me accidentally, I started taking stores, shops Pali decorated and furnished to the city of Mexico, and this began as an accident. I stayed out of work and invented a lamp, so I started selling my lamp and after selling this lamp I realized I could sell more products at once with the same views. So develop more products and I got older and was born and the business of selling decorative items.

The second half of my business life I have is dedicated to parks and business is also born by accident, because I buy land to build a house and it was so beautiful I decided to do something to share with everyone and was born there idea of ??a park. What skills should be a successful entrepreneur?
For me the one I would like to have everyone – and not all the have-is to be resourceful. It takes little imagination to create, modify, improve what we already know. In your opinion … what should be the attitude in times of crisis?
